Gentle Bloom began in the summer of 2025, during a chapter of my life spent living abroad. I made my very first leather journal by hand on the floor of my living room. It was slow, imperfect, and deeply personal. That first piece planted a seed.

During that time, I found comfort in simple rituals. One of my favorites was visiting the flower market and coming home to fresh blooms waiting for me. They brought a quiet sense of joy, beauty, and grounding—something soft and constant in an unfamiliar place.

Eventually, an idea bloomed:

What if these flowers could live on and turned into something meaningful?

That curiosity led to my first orchid journal charms. Working with real flowers made me feel connected, creative, and honestly… pretty. There was something special about carrying a real flower with you as a simple reminder to slow down, to notice beauty in the ordinary, and to hold onto small moments of joy throughout the day.

Not every experiment worked. Many projects ended up in the graveyard—failed attempts, trial runs, lessons learned the hard way. But each one shaped what Gentle Bloom would become. 

Today, Gentle Bloom is proudly handmade in California, where leathercraft and floral art come together to tell stories through journals, charms, and keepsakes. Every piece is made with intention, patience, and care—celebrating softness, beauty, and the quiet magic found in everyday moments.
